basel born fashion designer pia grüninger has been designing her own boutique collection since 2009. for her stylish creations, only high-end, non treated natural and organic materials are used: cashmere and bamboo from nepal; merino wool, silk, linen, cotton and leather from italy and germany.
the unique blouses, shirts and pullovers are manufactured in switzerland, italy and nepal, in traditional manufactories with fair, ecolocical and sustainable production standards. the top-quality, detailed finish of each seam and every additional detail is proof of outstanding craft.
the main topic of each format collection is what italians call “vestibilità”: the perfect fit. at format, this is represented by a silhouette that cleverly conceals unflattering parts and accentuates assets. individual adjustments on request are made in our own tailor studio.
the comfortable, loose-fitting, flowing designs and the supple natural materials enable grown up women to dress stylish easily, regardless of their size.
